It may seem like I prefer the RedVerse - I actually don’t, I like our lovely GreenyBlueVerse (technical term) but I love how the RedVerse creates great conflict, tension and character development in a subtle way.

Undoubtedly, the best part of the episode was the ending, which literally had me shouting “What?!” at my screen. Completely unexpected and utterly brilliant. This is what Fringe does best, the unexpected cliffhangers that leave you guessing. More of this please!

…This episode has a lot of similarities with the season 1 episode “Bad Dreams” which is definitely one of the strongest episodes Fringe has achieved. Why? Because it’s Olivia Dunham our hero, questioning herself, her past, her sanity.

The Olivia and Walter interactions that we have seen so far have been nice to see, including this one and the scene in the Pilot where Olivia calmed Walter down. It seems they’ve got an unspoken bond through the “hole in their lives” and is a nice dynamic that I hope the writers continue.
